Digital Goa, May 22 – Angry residents of Coldem and Telaulim staged a protest and gheraoed power department officials at the Aquem Power House, Margao over frequent power outages and the prolonged delay in installing a sanctioned power transformer for the area. A residents’ delegation confronted the Assistant Engineer, demanding accountability and immediate action to resolve the persistent electricity issues affecting the locality. Official assured residents that the transformer installation work would be completed within 20 to 25 days once the work order is issued.
