Reacting to Minister Rane’s statement on filling 22,000 government vacancies, CM Pramod Sawant reiterated that appointments across all government departments will be carried out through the Staff Selection Commission further adding that all departments, including those under Vishwajeet Rane, have been asked to submit their list of vacancies. “I will count them. Definitely they will be in thousands,” he said. Sawant added that apart from regular government departments, recruitment will also be undertaken in Goa Human Resource Development Corporation and other state corporations. Sawant said 2,500 jobs have already been announced through the Staff Selection Commission.
