Digital Goa, June 12 – A woman from Raia, Salcete, has allegedly lost ₹1.51 lakh in a cyber fraud linked to online loan apps.
Police said the woman had applied for a loan through platforms named “Cash Bus” and “Rupeeli” on March 22. After loan-related transactions were processed, several unauthorised debits were made from her bank account, resulting in a loss of ₹1,51,820. Maina-Curtorim Police have registered a case against unknown persons and are investigating the fraud.
