Digital Goa, July, 15 – Agriculture Department has been directed to undertake a statewide survey to assess the impact of deficient rainfall on farmers across Goa, informed CM Pramod Sawant. Zonal Agriculture Officers (ZAOs) have been asked to conduct field inspections and submit their reports to the Director of Agriculture. Based on the survey findings and the Director’s recommendations, the government will provide compensation to affected farmers if required, the Chief Minister said.
