Digital Goa, July 16 – Goa government on July 16 rolled out enhanced milk procurement incentives for dairy farmers, increasing the incentive to ₹6 per litre for cow milk and ₹10 per litre for buffalo milk, with retrospective effect from April 1. CM Pramod Sawant announced the revised incentives while launching the Sudharit Kamdhenu Yojana at Ponda. The revised scheme will now cover the purchase of up to 20 cows or buffaloes, with a 90% subsidy for the first 10 animals and a 75% subsidy for the next 10.
