Digital Goa, July 30 – Three Assistant Engineers in the Electricity Department have been placed under suspension for alleged negligence in connection with the recent deaths of linemen. The suspended Assistant Engineers are Emlesh Gaonkar of the Sanguem Division, Vikram Karekar of the Vasco Division, and Suraj Palekar of the Verna Division. They have been suspended pending an inquiry into the deaths of linemen who died while on duty, allegedly due to negligence.
