One-Year Scheme to Engage Fresh MBBS Graduates in Government Hospitals Notified

Digital Goa, July 31 – The Goa Government has introduced a one-year voluntary engagement scheme for freshly graduated MBBS doctors from Goa Medical College to help address the shortage of doctors in government health institutions. Eligible doctors will be appointed as Junior Residents/Medical Officers on a voluntary basis with a monthly remuneration of ₹80,000. The scheme will initially cover the 2025–26 MBBS batch and will not confer any right to permanent government employment.
