Goa seeks visa-on-arrival at both airports, more international flights

    Digital Goa, August, 3 – Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte met Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi on Monday and sought the Centre’s support to strengthen Goa’s air connectivity. Khaunte proposed extending the visa-on-arrival facility to both Mopa and Dabolim airports, designating Goa as a Point of Call for Central Asia and CIS countries, extending Open Sky policy benefits, and increasing domestic flight capacity. He said improved connectivity is key to promoting Goa as a year-round, high-value tourism destination.
