Digital Goa, August, 5 – Goa government has notified SOP for the pre-authentication of personal, commercial and educational documents required for Apostille or MEA attestation before use abroad. The SOP designates the Director of Education, Director of Technical Education, Director of Higher Education, Director of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Under Secretary (Home-II) as the designated authorities for verifying different categories of documents. Once pre-authenticated, documents can be submitted to the MEA’s authorised service providers in Goa for Apostille or attestation. The SOP will come into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
