Digital Goa, August, 6 – The MSME Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Margao, will organise a two-day Vendor Development Programme (VDP) at Chicalim, Vasco, on August 11 and 12 to help micro and small enterprises connect with Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). The programme will cover government procurement opportunities, financing schemes, MSME support initiatives, GeM, TReDS, CGTMSE, exports, KVIC and NSIC. Under the Public Procurement Policy, CPSEs and government departments are mandated to procure 25% of their annual purchases from micro and small enterprises. The event will be held at the GSL Officers Recreation Club (GORC), Chicalim, from 10 am onwards. Participation is free, but pre-registration is mandatory through dcdi-goa@dcmsme.gov.in
