Digital Goa, August 7 – The Inspector of Survey and Land Records (ISLR), Panaji, has issued a public notice calling upon residents of the Corporation of the City of Panaji and adjoining peri-urban areas to appear before the department between August 10 and August 31, 2026 (on working days) to submit documents required for the preparation of draft Urban Property (UrPro) Cards, if they have not already done so. The notice covers properties in Panaji, Bambolim, Cujira, Calapor, Durgawado, Taleigao, Morambi-O-Grande, Renovadi, Murda and Morambi-O-Pequeno. Property holders have been asked to produce the Naksha notice copy, title documents, identity proof and a passport-size photograph. The survey is being carried out under the Goa (National Geospatial Knowledge Based) Land Survey of Urban Habitations Rules, 2025. The department stated that while mapping of properties and structures has been completed, the collection of information relating to ownership and rights remains incomplete despite an earlier verification exercise conducted in July. Officials said the documents will help prepare the draft UrPro Cards, which will subsequently be published in the public domain for inviting objections and suggestions as provided under the Rules.
