Digital Goa, August, 12 – Around 120 kg of sweets being transported from Belagavi for supply to vendors across Goa were intercepted by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) at Taleigao.The sweets were being transported in a private vehicle. The supplier was found operating without a valid FSSAI licence, following which the entire stock was destroyed. The vehicle was intercepted following inputs from local vendors and backtracking at the retail level.
