Digital Goa, Aug 13 – Goa Cabinet has ratified the declaration of successful bidders for seven mining dumps located on government land where only a single responsive bid was received, CM Pramod Sawant informed during the Cabinet briefing today. The ratification has been granted under Clause 22 of the mining dump E-auction Policy, which allows the government to accept a single responsive bid instead of cancelling the auction for want of multiple bidders. Such single-bid cases require Cabinet ratification.Following the Cabinet decision, the seven mining dumps will now be allotted to the respective successful bidders.
