Digital Goa, July 10 – The dead body of the person who got drowned at Mainapi waterfall at Netravali yesterday was traced today morning at 7.15 am. The deceased is identified as 28-year-old Saidutt Naik from Vadem, Vasco. 53-year-old Janardhan Sadekar from Mapusa also drowned to death yesterday in an effort to save Saidutt. Tragedy struck the group of picnickers at about 1.30 pm yesterday. As per onlookers a strong inward water current developed resulting in a whirlpool effect, pulling Saidutt inside the water. Janardan who is a good swimmer went to save him but was also pulled inside the current.
