Agacaim police have registered a case against unknown persons for allegedly trespassing into the Rajbid heritage site at Gancim, Tiswadi, carrying out unauthorised road levelling and cutting trees without permission. Batim Sarpanch Krishnanath Shashikant Naik, 52, lodged the complaint on November 3, alleging damage to the protected heritage site in Survey No. 4/0. The case has been registered under the BNS, the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. Police said arrangements have been made to arrest those involved.
