Digital Goa, July 25 – Under Ground cabling works worth Rs 40 crore have been taken up in each of the 40 constituencies in Goa, Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar informed the House today. Rs 150 crore worth power infrastructure works have been taken up in Quepem Constituency, he added. Dhavlikar went on to add that his department has commenced the work of changing the old electricity conductors across Goa to keep a check on power outages. The conductors were not changed in Goa since 1965 conductors barring a few areas, he added.
