Digital Goa, Sept 6 – Mapusa Police have registered a case against IRB PSI Dhanu Boghati for negligently leaving his service pistol unattended leading to accidental firing of shot by his wife which left her grievously injured. Boghati’s wife Gauri was grievously injured yesterday after she accidentally pulled the trigger of his service pistol. Offence under section 338 IPC (causing serious injuries to another person by acting recklessly or negligently), has been registered against him. Police informed that the injured wife said in her statement that while cleaning the house she also began to clean the gun during which she unknowingly pulled the trigger and got injured.
