Digital Goa, Nov 29 – Goa cabinet today slashed road tax on high end vehicles to in order to prevent loss of revenue as some owners register their vehicles in other states to avoid higher tax. Now, high end vehicles will have to pay less road tax. According to the new reduced slabs, vehicles below Rs 6 lakh will pay 6% road tax, vehicles below Rs 15 lakhs will pay 11 % tax, vehicles below Rs 35 lakhs will pay 13% tax and vehicles costing above Rs 35 lakhs will pay road tax of 14 percent.
