Digital Goa, Dec 12 – Goa is the only state among 32 States & Union territories which has not utilised the funds released by the center under the Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY), as per the statistics placed before the Lok Sabha by MoS for Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. Funds to the tune of Rs 10.15 crore was released by the Center for Goa under the scheme to establish road connectivity with rural areas. However, the State has not utilised the funds at all. Center releases funds under PMGSY with the objective of providing connectivity, by way of an all-weather road to the unconnected rural areas.
