Oct 6 – Protestors at Margao called off their stir today. They said they would file intervention application in the Subash Velingkar anticipatory bail application filed before Panaji Session’s Court. Refusing interim relief, Court has reserved the bail plea for hearing Monday. Protestors had resumed their protest today morning in the presence of very heavy police force and police had warned the protestors of strict action if they block the road again today. Meanwhile, people have also approached police stations in other parts of Goa today including Panaji, Old Goa etc demanding Velingkar’s arrest.
