Football Sport facing downfall in Goa, need to take measures to uplift it: Gaude

Oct 7 – Football Sport is facing downfall in Goa and there is need to take measures to uplift it, said Sports Minister Govind Gaude today. He was speaking during the media briefing held to announce 2 day Football summit at BPS Sports Club, Margao on Oct 9 and 10. The objective of the summit is to find ways and means to address the issues faced by football sport in Goa and rekindle love for the State sport specially among children and youth. The summit is jointly organised by GFDC and GFA. A report identifying pressing issues and suggesting remedial steps is expected to be prepared during the summit for requisite action by stakeholders and govt.
