Nov 18- The Goa State Climate Change Cell of the Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSCCC-GSBB), along with other departments, is establishing a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in the form of a new company under the Goa State Government’s Blended Finance Initiative to pool resources and strengthen climate resilience across the State. The SPV will be instrumental in channelling funds from multilateral and other sources to support diverse climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, to combat climate challenges like rising temperatures, sea level rise and changing rainfall patterns; thereby to create a ‘Climate & Disaster – resilient Greener Goa’. To give this initiative a unique identity, GSCCC-GSBB invites public entries for a Name, Logo, and Multi-lingual Motto through a creative competition. Further details are available on Goa govt website or can also be sought through email goasccc@gmail.com or mobile 8459423916.
