Nov 20- Maharashtra-made liquor worth over Rs 1.34 crore was seized from two parked vehicles at Sancoale IDC by Excise Department officials. The vehicles were searched on suspicion during routine rounds at the industrial estate. According to Excise Official Rameez Mulla, the trucks contained liquor worth Rs 70 lakh and Rs 64.80 lakh, respectively. The two trucks, valued at Rs 50 lakh in total, have also been confiscated. It is suspected that the seized liquor may be linked to the ongoing Maharashtra elections. Further investigations are currently underway.
