Nov 22- As per information provided by Goa police, there is no political involvement of any kind in any of the series of cash related scams being unearthed in the State in the recent past, informed CM Pramod Sawant. He claimed that after the govt started taking action against the culprits, people have become alert and have started filing cases in such matters.
“All cash related frauds will be investigated in transparent manner. Police have been given free hand in the investigations. There is no interference by anyone. No one will be allowed to go scot free,” he asserted. When queried about the change of zone matter involving former CS Goel, Sawant said the matter is subjudice.
