Digital Goa, Aug 8 –North Goa District and Sessions Court at Ponda rejected the anticipatory bail application of Shripad alias Paresh Sinai Sawardekar, the driver of the Mercedes car involved in the Banastari bridge accident that claimed 3 lives on Sunday, Aug 6. The accused is presently in police custody.
CM Pramod Sawant today asserted that whosoever is guilty in the case will go behind the bars. “Police are investigating the matter. Police have finalised a few things ad and they are noting down fine details,” he said. Meanwhile, Diwar residents held a meet in the village yesterday demanding justice to the deceased Suresh and Bhavana Fadte.
