Goa govt to approach High Court seeking extension in deadline for declaring Mhadei Tiger Reserve

Digital Goa, Oct 16 – As the three months deadline for declaring the Mhadei Sanctuary as Tiger Reserve is approaching, Goa govt has decided to approach the High Court seeking extension of the deadline. Speaking to media Advocate General Devidas Pangam said that the state govt will approach the High Court to seek extension of three months deadline which ends on October 24. Recently, Supreme Court had refused to grant stay to the High Court order which directed the state govt to declare Mhadei sanctuary as Tiger Reserve within 3 months.
