Digital Goa, Aug 6 – A Goa Police officer, accused of sexually misbehaving with two students of Goa University, finally appeared before the Internal Inquiry Committee of Goa University. However, he refuted the charges of sexual misconduct before the committee. He also refused to apologise to the two complainant girls as asked by the committee. State Women’s Commission had directed the Internal Committee of Goa University to conduct an inquiry into the complaint and submit the report by Sept 13. Accused police officer had earlier ignored a number of notices of the Internal Committee asking him to appear before the committee. The students had complained that the officer had allegedly indulged in sexual misconduct when they had gone to his office for internship.
