Digital Goa, Aug 30 – Inquiry has been initiated in accordance with the complaint received by Police in the alleged sex scandal case, informed CM Pramod Sawant today. “I have also received letters in this regards,” he added. “ No one should take names and defame women using social media. Such acts will not be tolerated,” he said further. He advised those involved, to refrain from ‘poking their noses’ and intervening in other peoples personal lives. “If anyone had complained, govt would have investigated the matter,” said Sawant. GPCC president Girish Chodankar’s tweet with a news item from unidentified paper alleging sex scandal involving cabinet minister in Pramod Sawant led govt had stirred a hornet’s nest. Minister Mauvin Godinho’s office had filed a defamation complaint in this regards at the Vasco police station. Chicalim Dy Sarpanch Aishwarya Korgaonkar had also filed a complaint with the Vasco police and the cybercrime cell in this regards.
