Digital Goa, Aug 31 – Goa Cyber Crime Police arrested Mohankumar G, 25, from Bengaluru in a Rs 35.90 lakh ‘digital arrest’ fraud involving a Margao resident. The victim was allegedly threatened by fraudsters posing as Andheri Police officials and coerced into transferring the money after being told her account was linked to terrorist activities. He has been remanded to four days’ police custody. As per the complaint the fraud occurred before July 22.
