Aug 15- A person from Betalbhatim, allegedly involved in kidnaping of a minor, extortion and illegal crypto trading was arrested by Colva police early morning today. He was also found in possession of 2 guns with bullets. The accused identified as Marcos D’Souza was arrested following complaint of Julika Fernandes E Teles from Betalbhatim that her son was kidnapped by the accused on Aug 13. As per the complaint Marcos also demanded money to the tune of Rs 7 lakhs from her as ransom. When she went to pay the money the accused allegedly touched her inappropriately and outraged her modesty. Fernandes also alleged that prior to this, accused Marcos employed her son for trading in crypto currency and use of crypto mining machine. He resorted to kidnapping of her son and extortion following dispute in crypto currency trading and deal.
