Digital Goa, Dec 19 – Five shops in Mapusa Municipal Market were robbed early this morning. Acting on call given by locals, Mapusa Police intercepted and arrested one Chandan Das (21 yrs) residing in Mapusa and native of Bihar for committing theft and damaging one beauty parlour and Hotel Shantadurga at Municipal market in Mapusa. The stolen property – electronic items with cash – has been recovered at the instance of accused Chandan Das.
