Digital Goa, July 30 – Two persons were nabbed and handed over to police by Majorda locals for duping elderly women in the area on the pretext of polishing their gold jewellery. The matter came to light after a 60-year-old woman at Majorda raised an alarm. The duo identified as Bihar natives Sonu Kumar and Chandrasekhar Saha approached the lady yesterday evening and took her gold chain on pretext of polishing it. Instead they started melting the chain using some chemical. Following this she raised an alarm and called the locals. The duo was thrashed by the locals and later handed over to the police.
