Digital Goa, August, 18 – High Court on Tuesday cancelled the bail granted to Birch by Romeo Lane co-owners Saurabh Luthra, Gaurav Luthra and Ajay Gupta in connection with the December 6, 2025 nightclub fire at Arpora that claimed 25 lives. The Court directed the three accused to surrender within two weeks, while granting them liberty to file fresh bail applications before the trial court. The trial court has been directed to decide any such applications within two weeks of filing. Goa govt had challenged the lower court orders granting bail to the trio in both the Anjuna Police fire case and the connected Mapusa Police case involving alleged forgery of a health NOC to obtain an excise licence for the club.
