CM calls for need to curb sand erosion to protect tourism

Digital Goa, June 5- Goa government has launched a study to draft a comprehensive sand erosion management plan to protect the coastline, informed CM Pramod Sawant. He further went on to warn that without immediate measures to save the beaches, the state risks losing its tourism appeal. “Sand and soil erosion is a major problem in Goa. Over time, if we want our beaches to remain intact and continue attracting tourists, we must take steps to prevent sand erosion,” he said.
