Digital Goa, Sept 29, – CM Pramod Sawant has dismissed concerns over high unemployment in the state, claiming that there are enough jobs to ensure that not a single youth in Goa remains jobless. While acknowledging that salaries may be modest, he stressed that employment opportunities exist for all types of qualifications—from engineering graduates to those who have not completed school. Advising young people to take up available jobs first, Sawant advised them to continue seeking better opportunities while upgrading their skills. He also highlighted the importance of work experience, noting that it is now a requirement for government jobs. “If we don’t take the opportunities available in Goa, someone from outside will take them,” he warned.
