Digital Goa, August, 21 – Curchorem multiple sexual abuse cases accused Soham Naik has been released on conditional bail after securing conditional bail in four cases in which chargesheets have been filed against him, his lawyer Amey Prabhudesai informed. 20-year-old Soham, who was arrested around five months ago, faces a total of five cases.The POCSO Court has restricted Naik’s entry into South Goa until the conclusion of the case before it. He is presently residing in North Goa, his lawyer added.Chargesheets have been filed in four cases and bail has been granted by the respective courts in all four, informed Prabhudesai. One case is pending before the POCSO Court and pertains to an alleged offence committed when Naik was a juvenile. Two cases are before the Children’s Court, where both victims have been examined and have informed the court that they are not interested in pursuing the matters, Prabhudesai said. Another case is before the Quepem Court, while the chargesheet in the fifth case which is without arrest, has been filed but is yet to be committed to the concerned court.
