Digital Goa, May 21 – A 26-year-old labourer died after a JCB machine fell into a canal at Vadawal, Bicholim on May 20. The incident occurred around noon when the JCB, allegedly driven rashly by Juber, 22, lost control and plunged into the water canal.The deceased has been identified as Sonu, a native of Bihar and a labourer with a Construction company. The driver, Juber, also from Bihar, reportedly fled the scene after the mishap but was later arrested by Bicholim Police.
