Police crack Carambolim murder case; three cousins held for murder over property dispute

Digital Goa, Aug 28 – Goa Police have cracked the Carambolim murder case with the arrest of four persons including 3 cousin brothers of the deceased. The motive of the murder has been the dispute over ancestral property located in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. Accused brothers Rajendra Prasad( 34 years), Ranjit Prasad(32 years) , Rajkumar Prasad( 46 years) and Akhilesh Kumar Sahani (30 years) who stay in Porvorim allegedly beat Chandrika alias Gabbar to death on Aug 23 and dumped his body from Gaundalim bridge after tying it with heavy stone. The deceased had reportedly brutally assaulted father of accused in Mirzapur over the same property earlier. The murder was planned to take revenge of the assault on their father.
