Digital Goa, June 4 – Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Rohan Harmalkar in connection with a major land grab case involving fraudulent transfers and manipulation of land records in Bardez taluka. The arrest follows extensive searches conducted by the ED in April 2025, during which officials uncovered incriminating documents linked to immovable properties worth over Rs 1,000 crore. The seized documents included forged title deeds and evidence of illegal land transfers across several lakhs of square metres in prime locations such as Anjuna, Arpora, and Assagao. Additionally, original documents of properties worth more than Rs 600 crore were also seized, indicating the massive scale of the alleged land scam.
