Digital Goa, November 17 – The Goa government has launched a new High-Support Disability Scheme offering a one-time assistance of ₹40,000 to persons with benchmark disabilities. The financial support can be used for assistive technologies and devices, personal care assistance, and educational training or support services. At the launch event, several beneficiaries received their allotment letters. Eligible applicants can apply through the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD).
