Goa government is contemplating to launch a scheme to provide financial assistance to ‘warkaris’ undertaking the annual walking pilgrimage to Pandharpur, CM Pramod Sawant announced in the Assembly. Sawant said he will request Maharashtra govt to allot land in Pandharpur for a shelter home for Goans.
