CM Pramod Sawant announced simplified marriage registration facilities for couples choosing Goa for destination weddings, while addressing the Registration Day celebration in the capital. At the event organised by the Registration Department, Sawant said marriage registration certificates will henceforth carry photographs of both the bride and groom. He also outlined plans for pre-marital counselling centres to help reduce marital disputes and divorces, and new registration offices at Bicholim, Valpoi and Cacora.
