Digital Goa, Feb 23 -Several people oriented programs like Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan, Mahila Din, Swayampuran Goa 2.0 review, free spectacles to 30,000 students under CSR review etc will be held in the next few days in view of completion of 5 years of CM Pramod Sawant led govt. The actual date of completion of 5 years is on March 19, however, as the date is likely to fall within Model Code of Conduct for the Parliamentary Elections, the related programs will be commence from Feb 27 and go on till March 10, said Sawant. As part of Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan 12 ministers will visit panchayats in all 12 constituencies. As part of Mahila Din program, PM Narendra Modi will virtually interaction with Self Help Groups(SHG) across the state on March 7. Revolving funds to the tune of RS 4 crore will be disbursed to SHG on that day in addition to distribution of bank loans, said Sawant. Goa has around 1145 SHGs.
