Digital Goa, Sep 2 – Directorate of Agriculture has launched a Digital Crop Survey (DCS) across Goa as part of the Centre’s AgriStack programme, with official surveyors visiting agricultural fields to record details of crops currently being cultivated.The department asserted that the survey is only for recording crop information and is not related to land ownership, title or tenancy rights. According to the department, accurate real-time crop records will help ensure faster access to government farming schemes, subsidies and assistance, besides facilitating easier delivery of agricultural services.
