Digital Goa, July 14 – With the objective of facilitating AI-enabled governance, the Goa government has partnered with the Centre’s Digital India BHASHINI Division to integrate multilingual language technologies into government services while strengthening the Konkani language ecosystem. The initiative will focus on creating Konkani language datasets, glossaries and AI model validation resources to improve digital services in the state’s official language. To kick-start the initiative, the IT Dept will host the BHASHINI Rajyam Workshop: Goa Chapter on July 17 in Panaji in collaboration with the Digital India BHASHINI Division under MeitY to demonstrate how BHASHINI’s AI-powered capabilities can be integrated into government platforms. Officials are also expected to identify use cases for adopting BHASHINI services across departments and institutions to improve multilingual access to public services
