Digital Goa, Feb 6- High Court today said that the Goa govt can continue with the process of selection of 62 notaries in pursuance to the notice dated Jan 19, 2024 as this process in independent of the selection process of 100 notaries initiated in 2019 which has been challenged before the Court. The Court order came in the petition seeking halting of the process till final hearing in the earlier petition related to selection of 100 notaries in Feb 2019. “On perusing the notice dated 19/1/2024, it is seen that the process of filling up of 62 vacancies in terms of this notice dated 19/1/2024 is stated to be independent from the process initiated for filling up the 100 vacancies vide notice dated 25/2/2019,”stated the court order. The court also pointed out that is quite clear inasmuch as the previous applicants would not be considered for this fresh selection process.
