Digital Goa, May 8 – State cabinet has approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Mumbai based Fintech firm InstaPe Synergies Pvt Ltd to fast-track earned wage access and salary and pension-related advance facilities for government employees and pensioners in Goa. The services were earlier managed by the Directorate of Accounts.

▪️ *Goa Livelihood Forum appointed implementing agency for GoVan*
The forum will be responsible for operation, management and sustainable development of GoVan multi-product processing centres. The cabinet also approved a financial sanction of ₹1 crore per annum to ensure uniform, efficient and sustainable operations of the 10 centres across the state.GoVan is a Goa State Biodiversity Board initiative promoting sustainably harvested local products and rural livelihoods.
▪️Rules for admission to postgraduate degree courses of Goa University at GMC for 2026 for OBC category students approved.
▪️Nod for creation of 23 permanent posts under the Goa Rehabilitation Board.
▪️Allocation of around 80,000 metric tonnes of excess leftover ore dump to Sesa Ore Resources Limited at Dharbandora approved.
▪️ Approval for reappointment of consultant neurosurgeon Dr Ponraj K Sundaram for a further period of one year.
