GSPCB to monitor ambient air quality at 39 locations across Goa for 2 years by spending Rs 11.30 crore

    Digital Goa, Sept 16 – Goa State Pollution Control Board(GSPCB) will be monitoring ambient air quality at 39 locations in Goa for a period of 2 years from Nov 2023 to Oct 2025 by spending Rs 11.30 crore (Rs 11,30,46,000) . GSPCB has invited online bid under two bid system (Technical and Financial) from well established Environmental Laboratories for “Conducting Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (Sampling. Analysis & Reporting) at 39 locations in Goa for a period of 2 years starting from November 2023 to October 2025. The tender details are available on https://eprocure.goa.gov.in
    The air quality will be measured by taking PM2.5, PM10, SO2 and NO2 samples and also by measuring Temperature, Rainfall, wind speed, Wind Direction, Relative Humidity and Solar radiation at the following 39 locations in Goa – Amona station 1, Amona station 2, Assanora Junction station 1, Assanora Junction station 2, Bicholim City station 1, Bicholim City station 2, Honda Junction station 1, Honda Junction station 2, Kundaim Industrial Estate station 1, Kundaim Industrial Estate station 2, Mapusa station 1, Mapusa station 2, Ponda Town station 1, Ponda Town station 2, Tuem Industrial Estate station 1, Tuem Industrial Estate station 2, Panaji station 1, Panaji station 2, Codli tisk station 1, Codli tisk station 2, Cuncolim Industrial Estate station 1, Cuncolim Industrial Estate station 2, Curchorem Town station 1, Curchorem Town station 2, Margao Town station 1, Margao Town station 2, Marmagao station 1, Marmagao station 2, Sanguem station 1, Sanguem station 2, Quepem, Tilamol station 1, Quepem, Tilamol station 2, Usgao- Pale Junction station 1, Usgao- Pale Junction station 2, Vasco station 1, Vasco station 2, Korgaon, Pernem station 1, Nagargaon, Sattari station 1, Canacona station 1.
