Digital Goa, August 2 – Villagers of Karapur-Sarvan have given the authorities a 10-day ultimatum to stop the ongoing mega project in their village, warning that they will launch a ‘Rasta Roko’ agitation and halt the work themselves if their demand is not met. The decision was announced after Gram Sabha meeting, which witnessed a heated discussion over the project. Villagers said they have been protesting against the project for nearly four months and are now losing patience. They stated that if work continues beyond the 10-day deadline, they will inform the authorities and proceed with a road blockade to stop the project.
