Kare Law College Principal suspended in entrance exam rigging case

    Digital Goa, July 27- Principal of Margao-based G R Kare Law College principal Saba D’Silva has been suspended by the institute as the Goa University’s inquiry committee found truth in the allegations of favouritism and rigging of the college’s entrance test. D’Silva allegedly modified the entrance exam norms for admissions to the BA LLB programme at the eleventh hour to favour his son. Action has also been taken against College Librarian Anand Salve in the matter. Goa University had announced cancellation of GCLAT and retest on Aug 6. Students have approached the High Court against University’s decision.
